Our Story

We met our freshman year of high school at Hinsdale Central. We stayed friends for over a decade, as Andrew headed down to Austin to spend his college years at the University of Texas and Anastasia stayed close to home at Northwestern. Shortly after school, Anastasia left for New York, and Andrew moved back up to Chicago.

In the summer of 2019, Anastasia invited a group of friends to join her in Greece for her sister’s wedding (thanks Faith, we love you!). Andrew joined the party and got to experience an authentic Greek wedding in Anastasia’s favorite place in the world. By the end of the trip, we decided to give it a go, and Andrew booked flights to New York.

After 15 years of friendship, Andrew proposed in NYC, where we celebrated in the West Village with friends, before heading home to Chicago to continue the celebrations with our friends and family.
